First Edition. 7 3/4 by 4 3/4 inches in a modern binding of paper over boards with a black cloth spine with gilt printed paper label to the spine. Signed on the title page, "E. Bartlett 1831 - Josiah Bartlett June 1849 - George Bartlett 8 July 1854." (Possibly members of the Bartlett family of Stratham, New Hampshire.) Condition: The first title with uniform toning to the text but otherwise clean and Very Good. The second title with staining to the covers and a society library stamp but no other library marks. The third title with modest handling wear and a slight lean in the binding - otherwise clean and Very Good.
