Multi-colored lithograph featuring McKinley and Roosevelt at center, with vignettes to the candidates' left depicting troubles the country suffered under the previous Democratic administration, while vignettes on the right depict prosperity under McKinley's first administration. With the following headline: The Administration's Promises Have Been Kept / 1896 - 1900, plus the July 12, 1900 quote from McKinley at bottom: The American Flag has not been planted in foreign soil to acquire more territory but for humanity's sake. Marked at bottom by L.I.P. & B.A. 15 x 21.5 in., framed, 23 x 29.5 in. Provenance: Jim and Pat Gifford Collection of Political Americana Condition: Not examined outside of frame; vertical crease through center of lithograph, possibly torn in some spots but attempts made to repair it. With some areas of the lithograph touched up.
