Lot of 3, including: a painted porcelain plate featuring William McKinley 8" diam., by Knowles, Taylor & Knowles of East Liverpool, Ohio; a McKinley political soap baby, 4.5", in the original box labeled My Papa will Vote for McKinley / Gold Standard, Protection, Reciprocity, and Good Times, produced by the Monarch Soap Co., Lancaster, PA, ca 1896; and a large Herbert Hoover toby mug, 7" high, with Hoover's facsimile signature painted along the bottom of one side, produced by the Patriotic Products Association of Philadelphia, ca 1928. Condition: Plate retains 90% of gilt paint, with two chips in the outer edge. Soap baby in very good condition, only missing part of its left foot, although the box is worn. Hoover mug in very good condition.
