Galland’s name heads the dedication to the cardinal de Lorraine. – Thirteen full pages of woodcuts of land measurement conclude the commentary of Aggenus Urbicus on Frontinus. The succeeding texts are illustrated with one hundred thirty-four similar subjects and diagrams (including two repetitions), and nine pages of the symbols used in recording surveys”. – Modernes Exlibris, leicht gebräunt, teilweise schwach wasserfleckig und wellig.
