Highly visible in the classic Elia Kazan crime drama and Brando vehicle when "Charley 'The Gent' Malloy" (Steiger) draws it on his brother "Terry Malloy" (Brando) in the back of a cab before later surrendering it to Terry. The iconic scene that immortalized the Brando line, "I coulda been a contender..." The movie would be nominated for 12 Academy Awards®, winning 8, including "Best Picture," "Best Director," "Best Screenplay, and would earn Brando his first "Best Actor" Oscar.
