Manby, Mr. Hauksbee, 1731-1743 2 volumes, folio (518 x 359mm.), text in English and French, titles printed in red and black, dedication leaves, list of encouragers, double-page hand-coloured engraved map, 220 hand-coloured engraved plates, first 20 page numbers of volume 2 rubbed and corrected, contemporary Harleian style red morocco, spines with raised bands in eight compartments, morocco labels to second and third compartments, gilt edges, marbled endpapers, a few leaves with small marginal tears (not affecting text or illustrations), dampstain to one leaf of double-page engraved map, rebacked
