Woodcut illustrations and diagrams. (Title browned, spotted, and with marginal nicks and tears, large waterstains, final quire spotted and affected by damp at foremargin.) Modern wrappers, uncut. UNCUT COPY OF A RARE TRACT proposing an improved method for the measurement of the earth. SBN locates only 4 copies. Count Manzini of Bologna was a member of the local nobility and an enthusiastic amateur, deeply interested in the study of celestial bodies and the related subject of lenses.
