Large manuscript of Hassidic articles by Ba'al HaTanya, the Mitteler Rebbe and the Tzemach Tzedek. [C. 1832]. Title page of booklet contains index of articles written upon faded writing:"Torah of the Rebbe Rabbi Dover". Majority of articles are from the Torah of the Mitteler Rebbe, Rabbi Dover. Leaves 36-37: Article from"the Torah of Rabbi Shneur Zalman". End of volume contains collection of articles by the Tzemach Tzedek with special title page:"Torah of the Rebbe the Moharam". The most recent article is on Parashat Vayikra 1832. These articles are from the beginning of the period of his leadership. [The Rebbe author of the Tzemach Tzedek succeeded his father-in-law the Mitteler Rebbe, who passed away in 1828]. Leaves 163-165: Copy of the historical letter by Rabbi Yehudah Leib brother of the Ba'al HaTanya, to Rabbi Aharon HaLevi prominent disciple of the Ba'al HaTanya, to whose court many Hassidim flocked after the demise of his rabbi and a large argument erupted between the Hassidim of the Mitteler Rebbe.
