The Castello Bar was a popular gathering place for conductors, musicians, directors, designers, actors, singers and dancers working in opera, theatre, and dance performing at Salzburg Festival, the Salzburg State Theater, etc. It also attracted auto racers due to its proximity to Salzburgring, as well as artists, government officials, and tourists. Hundreds of autographs have yet to be identified, but there is a strong concentration of musical, opera and ballet performers, due to the proximity of the Castello Bar to Salzburg, but also artists, politicians, dignitaries, race car drivers, film stars and others.
