The scene simulates the mysterious characteristics as if lighted by a full moon in color tones of yellow, mustard and tan over citron yellow glass. The bat, the well detailed owl and the aged tree are blackened burgundy with royal blue accenting. Height is 16 inches. Signed “Muller Croismare” in relief beneath the base, dating the vase before 1914. An enchanting vessel that is uncommonly seen. Excellent condition.
