Manufacturer: Lotton Artist: Charles Lotton Description: Rare Charles Lotton Frosted and Caged Multi Flora lamp created in 1989. The shade and base are beautifully decorated with a total of 20 pink and white flower heads floating throughout the ice-like glass, the surfaces then drizzled with thick serpentine applications. The flame glass finial is finely hand crafted, given ridged applications that mimic the caging technique. Height to the tip of the finial is 27 1/2 inches. Noteworthy, is the shade, an unusual helmet form, varying from the usual ruffled style that measures 16 inches across and 8 inches tall and has the engraved signature of the esteemed Charles Lotton along with title and creative year. The shade has a drilled fitter with flat chips inside possibly due to the factory drill. Frosted lamps are less often seen and this one is both impressive and enchanting. Lamps created by Charles’s hand are quite possibly, nevermore. Excellent original condition.
