Manufacturer: Daum Description: Imposing Daum pate-de-verre center piece, a mythical pair of bearded Imperial dragons, each grasping a brass ball in one of their 5 toe claws, the nature of an Imperial dragon, common dragons have only 4 toes. Spiral brass “fire” breaths escape their nostrils which adjust and are removable. The creatures writhing bodies, conceived from amethyst and amber glass, loft a pate-de-verre blue and frost bowl, molded to resemble a cloud structure, measuring 4 inches by 8 1/2 inches. The dragons measure 16 inches snout to snout and 10 inches across their intwined bodies. One dragon bears the script engraved “Daum France” on it’s side. Folk lore proclaims, dragons convey abundance, prosperity and good fortune. This enchanting centerpiece has experienced the “good fortune” to remain in excellent original condition.
