[MANOSCRITTO NOTARILE] - Manoscritto su carta datato 1497 in copertina. 1497. An early manuscript on paper dealing with censuses, or rather the verbal declarations of the individual owners made with the aim of determining, in the event of succession, the legitimate possessions. Acts concern various French locations, such as Puget-sur-Argens, Villeneuve-Loubet, Pierrefeu, Barcelonette, but also the Italian area of Cuneo. Folio (415 x 290mm). Manuscript on paper consisting of 162 leaves divided into 14 gatherings of 12 leaves each, except the ninth consisting of 14 leaves, the eleventh of 10 and the final of 6, some decorated initials (serious damage due to waterstaining, some leaves detached). Contemporary vellum, on the verso of the back cover "Iura Ducalia vic-arie pugeti" (somewhat worn with some loss). For this lot, the notification procedure was initiated by the Italian Soprintendenza for particular cultural interest on 27th January 2023.
