"l'allègre chiffoneur des papiers bruns") written on the front cover, signed by the surrealist artists René Magritte Paul Colinet Irène Hamoir and the poet Jean Émile Louis Scutenaire, most probably also the writer of the dedication. Very rare and early Dutch catalogue of an exhibition of Magritte's works which was organised by 'Kunstzaal Esher Surrey'. The catalogue lists 20 paintings ('Le Précurseur', 'L'échelle du feu', 'Le pont d'Héraclite', etc.) and 6 watercolours.
