Single Action Army revolver manufactured by Colt in 1978. Left side of barrel is stamped "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .44 SPECIAL" with Colt's single line address across the top. Left side of frame bears patent information followed by the Rampant Colt logo. Features include a case color hardened frame, blued 7 - 1/2" barrel, blade front sight, notched rear sight, blued trigger guard & grip straps, and 2-piece Colt black plastic grips. All numbers are matching. CONDITION: Frame retains vibrant case coloring overall, exhibiting a few minor superficial handling and storage marks. Cylinder bears an extremely light dragline. Blued components retain virtually all of their original factory blue finish showing a few light marks from handling & storage. Bore is excellent, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Black plastic grips are excellent overall.
