Remington 40-X bolt action target rifle. Made 1974. Single shot design. Round steel barrel with no iron sights. Bases are set for iron sights and the receiver is drilled for a scope, in addition to having a mount for a rear peep sight. Blued finish on the barrel and receiver. Adjustable trigger. Custom wood stock with a rubber butt pad, and aluminum rail for a match sling on palm block. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with light handling marks and wear. Wood is very good with some minor scratches. Crisp rifling in the bore. Mechanically fine.
