American Eagle Luger manufactured by Mauser for commercial sales in the 1970s. Left side of frame is stamped "MAUSER PARABELLUM/ 9MM LUGER". "FBM" within a Mauser Banner logo present above the locking bolt and on the barrel towards the breech. Top of chamber is stamped with the American eagle insignia similar to those of the Model 1906 contract. Toggle is stamped "Original" over the Mauser Banner logo. Right side of receiver bears the Interarms import mark and serial number. Front grip strap is stamped with Mauser's manufacturer information. Top of barrel is stamped "9mm Luger". Features include a 4" barrel, grip safety, "U" notch rear sight, and 2-piece checkered wood grips. Complete with a wood red felt lined display case containing an additional magazine, box of Peters 9mm ammunition, loading tool, as well as an original factory manual and paper test target. CONDITION: Excellent overall, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory blue finish. Mirror bore, retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grips are excellent. Case shows some marks from handling and storage, but is otherwise fine.
