Early 3rd generation Colt Custom Shop Single Action Army revolver. Factory engraved in Class D coverage featuring classic scrolls with punch dot backgrounds. Nickel with 7 - 1/2" barrel. Chambered in .45 LC. 2 piece smooth bone grips with Colt medallions. Housed in a Colt leatherette Custom Shop case. Accompanying Colt Archival Letter dated December 9, 1981 signed by B.J. Batignani Archivist. Letter documents configuration and factory engraving. CONDITION: Near mint with 98+% original nickel remaining. Bore is bright and clean. Gun is most likely unfired. Inside of case is cracking at the hinge.
