A Louis XVI-style giltwood vitrine, with foliate and ribbon carving throughout, having a rectangular, stepped top centered by a floral bouquet above glass-paneled sides and a single, glazed door with floral festoons at the top and a torch-carved medallion at the bottom, the interior with a green silk back and four removable shelves, all rising on short, stop-fluted legs ending in toupie feet; ht. 69, wd. 29.25, dp. 17.5 in. Condition: Surface wear and imperfections as would be expected with age and use, including some minor nicks, scuffs, and chips, sometimes exposing the gesso and wood. Some flaking to gilded surface. Electrified.
