The sumptuous proscenium and curtain of the theatre is pictured in the frontispiece and was designed by Alessandro Baratta a baroque theatre architect, and engraved by Martial Desbois The four engravings of the scenes are after designs by Ugolinus (one plate signed) and Ferdinando Galli Bibiena (one plate signed in reverse).
