(One of the signatures is smeared.) 7x5¼. * A.L.s from Stephen Haweis (1878-1969, artist, and husband of poet Mina Loy , to Anne Bremer, also an artist, offering to sell her some art, "If you were serious about buying any of my Fiji drawings I will be more than glad to sell them to you... As to price, it is easier to say 15 dollars each & every one than worry over small differences..." On 2+ pages of 4-page notesheet of the Bohemian Club. Jan. 2, 1903. * A.L.s. from California painter Arthur Frank Mathews (1860-1945), to Anne Bremer, regretting that he "can not promise to serve on the jury for the Sketch Club Exhibition.
