A History of The Minikahda Club Golf Course. 168 pp. Dark green cloth, stamped and lettered in gilt. Dj. [2013]. Francis, C. Edwin. Waverley Country Club, 1896-1996. 182 pp. Green faux leather, stamped and lettered in gilt, decorative endpapers. [1996]. Barbour, Richard Ph. D. Columbia Edgewater: 1924-1999, The First Seventy-Five Years of the Friendliest Club in Town. 88 pp. Dark green leatherette, stamped and lettered in gilt, decorative endpapers. Dj. [1999]. A group of great reads, as each of the courses are packed with national golf history. Charted in 1896, Waverley Country Club was the second private golf club established west of the Mississippi River. The club has played host to many prestigious USGA tournaments, including the 1993 U.S Junior Amateur, which saw a young Tiger Woods win his third consecutive National Junior Championship. Not to be outdone, The Minikahda Club has hosted a U.S. Open (1916), a Walker Cup (1957) and the 1927 U.S. Amateur Championship won by Bobby Jones Lot Amendments Condition: Slight darkening to the cloth cover of one volume, else all near fine or fine. Lots sold without reserve are sold “as Is” and are not returnable under any circumstances.
