Title: Lot of five Panama-Pacific Exposition lapel pins, all from the estate of San Francisco Mayor James (Sunny Jim) Rolph Jr. Author: Place: Publisher: Date: 1915 Description: Includes: Two gold plate and enamel pins from Siam at the PPIE, with the Siamese flag, (one mounted on the original card, identified as Gold Plate. One generic pin back button for the Fair dated 1915. A very nice gold and enamel lapel pin for Argentina with flag made by Shreve in San Francisco. A sterling silver and enamel pin showing the same Argentine flag and identified as the Anasagasti Club 1915, with “James Rolph Jr.” engraved on the reverse with “San Francisco Enero is”. We have not been able to identify what this club was, except that Horacio Anasagasti was listed as the Commisioner General of the Fair. Probably quite rare. All in a small box with the cover printed as Souvenir de la Republica Argentina Exposition Universal de San Francisco de California 1915. Lot Amendments Condition: Fine. Item number: 259007
