Lot consists of (A) Pair of World War I US Army issue hobnail boots. Both have "7 E 8" carved inside at the ankle. There are also illegible markings on the sole of the boots. The boots are a dark brown leather, and are constructed with steel in the toe of the sole, and are hobnailed across the sole. The boots feature 7 brass eyelets with the remnants of leather laces contained in the left boot. The leather is stiff but there are no holes or cracks. CONDITION: Fair. (B) Pair of World War I US Army issue M1917 style cap toe boots. Both have "9 D" carved inside at the ankle There are also illegible markings on the sole of the boots. The boots are brown leather, are constructed with leather soles, and have nailed heels. The boots feature 7 brass eyelets complete with laces. The boots each have Dr. Scholl's Foot Eazer inserts contained inside. The leather exhibits heavy wear but there are no holes or cracks. CONDITION: Very good. (C) 4 pairs of World War I canvas leggings and 1 pair of buckles for World War II double buckle boots. 2 pairs of leggings have USMC stamps and another is stamped with an illegible name.
