Beschreibung:

The largest of the four, 13 - 1/2", is a closed mouth, turned shoulder head doll with glass eyes, head looking slightly to the left and incised on back of shoulder "7926" and the Geberuder Heubach logo, mounted on a cloth and leather body with long bisque arms and legs with molded and painted shoes. Most likely the body is later than the head, but it is well-proportioned and totally appropriate. Also included are two Simon-Halbig's, both incised on back of shoulder "S&H 1160", both having glass eyes, closed mouth, pierced earlobes, and well-dressed. The one with slightly darker wig with braids has an open cut head and is on a period cloth body with bisque lower hands and lower legs with molded and painted stockings and black boots with slightly raised heel. Her sister has a more child-like face despite the same incised marking, has a blonde wig and is on a cloth body with bisque arms and bisque legs with bare feet, however maybe slightly later than the head but well-proportioned and very good quality. The fourth doll, also about 10", is a miniature version of the Kestner Gibson Girl, with closed mouth, long swan-like neck, inset glass eyes looking ever so slightly to the right, mounted on a cloth body with bisque forearms and bisque lower legs with molded, ribbed white stockings with molded and painted black boots with slight heel. She wears apparently her original blonde mohair wig in the typical upswept Gibson Girl style and clothes could be original if not extremely well made and will illuminate the period for which she represents. CONDITION: Overall very good. Condition: (Very Good). Item Dimensions: Largest: 14 - 1/2" x 5 - 1/2" x 4".
