Beschreibung:

Lot consists of: (A) An undocumented version of the World War I German Kugel Grenade, identified by its single central horizontal fragmentation groove and less overall fragments. This grenade contains the pull friction fuze normally seen with the egg grenade, but loaded into Kugels as well. It is an uncommon variation and seldom seen. One of the most desirable of the Kugels, in excellent condition. (B) Another copy of the 1915 Model World War I German Kugel grenade, this one in full and complete condition. The grenade is in excellent condition. This grenade has the later version of pull friction fuze, complete with the pull wire. (C) Another standard for every serious grenade collector is the World War I German Model 1917 Eierhandgranates (egg grenade). This is a typical example, the body in fine condition with about 50% of the original paint and a variation of the original pull friction fuze, complete with cap.
