LOT OF 2: WORLD WAR I LIBERTY BOND POSTERS AND 1 WORLD WAR II WAR BOND POSTER.

Lot consists of: (A) World War I Fourth Liberty Loan Poster. This is a very dramatic poster as it displays the message "That Liberty Shall Not Perish from the Face of the Earth Buy Liberty Bonds." Above the slogan, the poster depicts a formation of enemy planes flying over a burning New York City. Below the graphic on the left side, the poster displays the name of the artist, "Joseph Pennel." in the right corner of the graphic, are the words "Alco-Gravure Inc. N.Y." CONDITION: The poster shows some slight tears and water damage around the edges but is in relatively good condition. The poster is in a wood and plexiglass frame that measures 23-1/4" wide by 35" tall. (B) World War I liberty bond poster depicting a bloody hand print and bearing the words "The Hun ~ his Mark Blot it Out with Liberty Bonds." The poster bears the mark of artist J. Allen St. John in the bottom left corner. In the bottom right corner the mark of Manz Engraving Co. Chicago, is printed. CONDITION: Very good as the poster shows little signs of wear. The poster is in a wood and plexiglass frame that measures 21-1/4" wide by 32" tall. (C) World War II War Bond Poster. The poster bears the message Ours...to fight for Freedom From Want. The graphic was designed by Norman Rockwell and his name is printed in the bottom left corner of the illustration. The mark of the Office of War Information is printed at the very bottom of the poster in the center. CONDITION: The poster shows signs of wear including creases down the middle and across the graphic as it was previously folded. There are some stains and slight tears but the poster displays nicely. The poster is in a plexiglass and wood frame and measures 21-3/4" wide by 29-1/2" tall. JD This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
