(A) The Prinz Eugen Field Marschall Series Sword has a nickel plated steel blade with the maker mark for the maker "Carl Eickhorn". The blade has a few areas of scattered freckling. Carl Eickhorn was the sole producer of the "Field Marschall" series swords. The D-guard and hilt are made of gilded white metal with scattered areas where the gilding has flaked off. The black trylon grip is decorated with a multiple piece wire wrap. The black painted steel scabbard retains roughly 95% of it's original paint. CONDITION: Overall Excellent. (B) The Scharnhörst Field Marschall Series Sword has a nickel plated blade which is maker marked for the firm of "Carl Eickhorn". The blade remains bright with no noticeable marks. The gilded brass hilt and D-guard retain only remnants of the original gilding in the recesses. The black trylon grip is wrapped with a decorative multi-piece wire. The black painted steel scabbard retains approximately 95% of it's original black paint with a few areas of scattered marks near the drag area. D.W. Item Dimensions: Largest: 38 - 1/2".
