Lot consist of: (A) Colt 1911/A1 .22LR conversion unit with box. 1950's era kit with "COLT's MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." on the right side of the slide. "Conversion/Unit COLT Automatic/CAL. .22L.R." on the left side of the slide followed by a rampant Colt pony. Factory high-polished blued finish. with standard blade front and adjustable U-notch rear sight. Barrel marked "COLT/CAL .22 L.R.". Includes spring, ejector, guide rod, slide stop, and original Colt marked magazine. All in the original flat board box, with rampant Colt on the top. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Bore is sharp with crisp rifling. Magazine has light wear. Box is very good with light wear on the edges. (B) Colt 1911/A1 .22LR Service Unit conversion unit with box. Late 1940's era kit with "COLTS MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." on the left side of the slide. "COLT Conversion/Unit .22 LONG/RIFLE" on the left side of the slide followed by a rampant Colt Pony. Factory, high polished blued finish. with standard blade front and adjustable U-notch rear sight. Barrel is U-marked. Includes floating chamber, spring, ejector, guide rod, slide stop, and original Colt marked magazine. All in the original flat board box with instructions. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Magazine has light wear. Box is very good with light wear on the edges. JWA
