Comprising: A) English Basket Hilted Backsword. Straight tapered single fuller steel blade, stamped on each side with a Fleur-de-Lis, perhaps the mark of the London Cutlers Company. Steel basket hilt of familiar form, Shagrin covered wood grip with braided copper wire wrap. Good condition; cleaned with scattered areas of pitting, blade has some notches in edge and worn point. Grip with some losses to shagrin. B) English Basket Hilt. Straight tapered blade, familiar pierced hilt, wood grip, and urn-shaped pommel.
