Another group is of Washington, DC landmarks: Supreme Court Room, US Treasury Bldg (exterior and interior); From Washington monument east to Capitol, Joint Session of House & Senate; East Room of White House; painting in capitol, signing of Emancipation Proclamation; the Capitol; Down the Potomac River (with Washington monument); Patent office; President's office in White House. There are a number of paintings and statues, including bronze doors (one of Ferdinand and Isabella, one of the landing of the Spaniards in the Caribbean), two have text, another is a drawing of a scriptorium. The last major group is of native peoples, mostly of the New World, although one appears to be India. One unlabeled shows South American Indian women doing each other's hair; women carrying water from Lake Paparoocha, Peru; women carrying water from cerro de Pesco, Peru; Hopi at Mishongnovi, Arizona; Indian Warriors in council (Plains); Implements made by the Inca; Indian Fur Camp on the Plains; Old Caribs, Dominica; Indian Pueblo, New Mexico; Eskimo Mother, Babe and pet wolf on steamer deck, Greenland; Hopi Indian girls grinding corn, Arizona; Old Navajo Indian Woman Making Rug on a Primitive Loom; [Seminole]; Iroquois Indian Village, Canada; Indian [woman] making pottery, Oraibi, Arizona; one appears to be a man affixing a headpiece on a young dancer?; Indian Village, Reservation, Glacier Nat.
