Lois Wallace studied at The Slade School of Art and has exhibited in galleries widely in the UK and overseas, as well as in many open competitions including the RA Summer Exhibition and The Threadneedle prize where she was a finalist. Her small narrative paintings depict fragile temporary structures, on the edge and out of place in a space between worlds, reality and memory. They reference landscape and memory as a metaphor for the human condition.
