(incl. 7 blank ff.), written in black/brown and red ink, 22 ll. within ruled writing area.
Contents : Calendar (6 ff.) with Franciscans saints (4 October "St franciscus ons heilige vad(er)"), and, in a later hand (?) "Sinte quintinus (...) patroe(n)"; Psalterium (216 ff., incl. 5 blanks) with at the end, in other hands “Dit es een schoen ghebedeken totten weerdighen heileghen sacramente”, “Noch totten heileghen sacramente”, “Dit gebet sprac St. Gregorius”, and a prayer to the Virgin. Decoration : rubricated throughout in red and blue; numerous 1- or 2-line initials in red and blue; some larger initials; nice 5-line initial in blue and red penwork extending into the margin and with green, yellow and red decoration; nice 8-line initial in red and blue with fine penwork decoration . Provenance : at bottom of 1st text f. “ dit boeck hoert toe de(n) besloete(n) sustere(n) te hasselt | te s(an)c(t)e(n) catherine(n) dael geheite(n) ”, i.e. the Witte Nonnen convent of the Hasselt Franciscan Nuns; on verso of front flyleaf some pencil names of later owners: " Zerezo de Tejada " [Laakdal], and " B[ar]on André d’Otreppe de B[ouvette ] | Cierreux" [1913-2006].
