Contemporary quarter brown calf over marbled paper-covered boards, red morocco spine label, stamped in blind and in gilt, second volume expertly and unobtrusively rebacked, boards and extremities lightly worn and rubbed, spine somewhat dry; red speckled edges; a few scattered minor spots to text; short closed tear in top edge of pp. 9/10 in second volume, repaired short closed tear in top edge pp. 15/16 in same; in quarter green morocco slip case and chemise.
