The "most extensive early work on Upper California," first published in Mexico in 1787, with the English translation published in San Francisco in 1874, with the present publication following that. Howes P56. J. Gregg Layne's copy, with his bookplate. Lot Amendments Condition: A little extremity rubbing; ink name on front free endpaper dated 1890, very good or better. Item number: 170820
