FIRST EDITION of the collected Latin poems by the famous French humanist and chancellor of France, Michel de L'Hospital. The work was posthumously prepared by the author's grandson, Michel Hurault, in collaboration with L'Hospital's friends, including Jacques du Faur de Pibrac, Jacques-August de Thou and Scévole de Sainte-Marthe.
