A historical letter from the Heads of the Community of Lissa to the Heads of the Community of Frankfurt am Main – Cheshvan 1713. A letter dispatched to assist in the collection of funds for the congregation of Shtrim. Some of the signatures that appear are Aryeh Leib ben Rabbi Yaacov Bacharach of Lissa, Meir ben Yaacov of Lissa, Moshe Shlomo Katz [Nadler] of Lissa, Noshe Yaacov ben Yehoshua and others. According to handwriting it seems writer of the letter is the first signer - Rabbi Aryeh Leib Bacharach. It is important to note that the previous Rabbi of the community of Lissa, Rabbi Yaacov Yitzchak who died in the year 1682, was the rabbi of Shtrim before Lissa. 20.5 cm. Very good condition. Folding marks.
