London: Richard Phillips 1807. 4 volumes, 12°, engraved portrait and 100 plates by Warner, Tomlinson and others, EXTRA-ILLUSTRATED with 58 plates before letters from another edition (occasional light spotting), contemporary blue straight-grained morocco by SAMUEL WELCHER with his ticket, spine gilt in compartments, wide border round sides, gilt edges (a few very minor signs of wear). Provenance : H. Holland Edwards (bookplate). Samuel Welcher, whose address on his ticket is 12 Villiers Street, was the partner of Staggemeier, whose premises were next door at no.11. (4)
