LE BRUN, Cornelius. Voyages...par la Moscovie, en Perse, et aux Indes Orientales , Amsterdam: Wetstein, 1718. 2 volumes, 2° (334 x 208mm). Additional engraved title, portrait, 3 double-page maps and 266 plates on a considerably fewer number of sheets, some double-page and folding including the panoramic view of Moscow, 45 engraved illustrations in the text, printed titles in red and black, half-titles (probably lacks at least one plate, no.74, short tears in panorama of Moscow, tear in X2 of volume I affects illustration, a few margins lightly browned). Contemporary calf, gilt spines (worn, covers detached). Provenance : Francis Scott (18th-century bookplate). Brunet III, 911; Owing to the uncertainty of collation, sold not subject to return. (2)
