This work reprints two speeches given at a Foyle's literary lunch held at Grosvenor House on 18 June 1935, to commemorate Lawrence. Hart's speech is titled 'Lawrence. "The Artist in War and Letters"' and Storrs' 'Lawrence. "Himself"'. This is the first book to be completed and printed by The Corvinus Press: the first book printed was an edition of Hart's speech, under the title Lawrence. "The Artist in War and Letters" , which was never issued. This copy was inscribed to the poet, novelist and critic L.A.G.
