Title: Large panoramic view of Stockholm depicting the funeral ceremonies of Charles X Gustav, from Samuel Pufendorf's "De Rebus a Carolo Gustavo" Author: Pufendorf, Samuel von Place: Nuremberg Publisher: Date: 1696 [or 1697] Description: Engraved panorama on multiple sheets joined together, later hand-coloring. Approx. 28x450 cm (11x177") plus margins. Spectacular and very long panoramic view of the monumental funeral procession held for Charles X Gustav, also known as Carl Gustav, King of Sweden from 1654 until his death in 1660. Lot Amendments Condition: Just light wear, a few neat repairs including where the sheets are joined; very good. Quite scarce. Item number: 277376
