Lot consists of miscellaneous pieces of ephemera that date from the WWI era-post WWI. The lot includes approximately 150+ letters, some are contained in an envelope while others are in a binder. The letters in the envelope are presumably all from one Marine to his wife and are dated 1918. Some of the letters contained in the binder are all written on paper with the 2nd Division "Indian Head" letterhead. There are also miscellaneous documents including some discharge and service papers. There are 22 issues of "The Indian" Second Division weekly publications, some are duplicates. Also included are 13 color reproductions of paintings by Clarence J. Tibado. Lastly, there is a large scrapbook with entries dating to the WWII era. CONDITION: Most paper items exhibit stains, rips, fading, and creasing. Letters are nicely preserved in plastic sleeves. Scrapbook is fragile. Overall fair-very good.
