LARGE LOT OF USMC MEDALS, INSIGNIA, DOG TAGS, AND GROUPINGS.

Lot of US Marine Corps medals, insignia, and dog tags along with a World War I medal grouping. There are several World War I and World War II Marine Corps and Navy dog tags. 2 of the dog tags are rare early war acid etched with finger prints on the reverse. Other dog tags are named to Marines who were wounded in World War I including Pfc. Arnold P. Hilberg, who was part of the 5th Marine Regiment and was wounded during the assault of Blanc Mont Massif, and a dog tag named to Pvt. Arnold R. Williams, who was part of 3rd Battalion, 6th Marines and was gassed at Verdun and wounded at the Battle of Chateau-Thierry. There is also a Purple Heart box containing the dog tag and memorabilia from James A. Wolff USMCR. There are also various service medals from the 1930s-Vietnam. Very nice USMC Expert Rifleman badge engraved on the reverse to Harry G. Noll dated 1918. Also included is a riker mount containing the medals and memorabilia from Emory Worley of Harrington, Texas, who was a Marine in World War I. The small grouping includes a World War I Service Medal, USMC Good Conduct Medal, several American Legion medals, US and EGA patches, and a wool overseas hat that was worn by Worley after the war. There is also a reproduction George Medal with a certificate stating that it is number 32 out of 129 medals made. Some items show wear while others have been well preserved.
