Some titles illustrated from photographs, etc. Generally octavo volumes with decorative cloth and/or boards. Legendary San Francisco printers Paul Elder & Company published about 350 titles between 1903 and 1917. The best volumes were designed and printed by John Henry Nash director of the Tomoye Press. This is a wonderful collection, featuring a wide variety of classic titles produced by the press. A handful of titles are repeated, but the vast majority of volumes are unique. Some of the repeated titles include The Galleries of the Exposition (4 copies), New Footprints in Old Places (3 copies), and Outlines by John D. Barry (3 copies).
