The corrections which range from minor typographical alterations to the removal of entire poems (and the addition of new verses to others) seem to be in preparation for a new edition of the work which never transpired. Esther Hare (1814-64), wife of Julius Hare writer, instrumental in persuading John Taylor to publish Landor's Imaginary Conversations.
