In 1994 Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Limited commissioned Lalique to produce a 200-piece limited edition design to commemorate the luxury motor company's 90th anniversary. The Spirit of Ecstasy was designed by the English sculptor Charles Robinson Sykes. •
