Above title is a self dedication of author's grandson who writes he got the book as a gift from his grandfather, the author. Rabbi Meir Ha-Levi Ish Horovitz, Av Beit Din Levertov and Lvov (1790-1841, Otzar Ha-Rabanim 12816), Ben Rabbi Shmuel Shmalka and grandson on the author of "Mahane Levi". The "Hatam Sofer" in his approbation to "Netivot L-Shabat" wrote he was a Gaon, son of Holy ones, and a fabulous person. Published the book "Netivot Le-Shabat" by his grandfather Ba'al Ha-Hafla'ah. Was involved along with his son in law Rabbi Manis of Dubna and Ra"z Matgaliot, in the publishing of the book "Panim Yafot" by the Ba'al Ha-Hafla'ah, in which, accorcing to the sages of Hassidism, the tings he wrote in the name of the Magid of Mezritch were omitted.
