This work is starting with 69 pages of general description of the area including Geography, terrain analysis, climate, but also local history, hygiene advises, languages, ethnological consistence, religions etc. The rest of the work includes detailed itineraries from place to place, organised in kilometrical lists with indication of major physical and human made features of the landscape. In this way, this work provides one of the most detailed images of Greece and Macedonia in the beginning of the 20th century. Also very valuable is the indication of the placenames, many of them changed after the war. Extremely rare.
