KRAUTWALD, JOSEPH (Borkenstadt / Oberschlesien 1914-2003 Rheine), Relief: "Am Anfang war das Wort", Hochrelief nach dem Johannesprolog (Joh 1.1-18). Hochrelief, Bronze, hellbraun patiniert und in der charakteristischen, expressiv-blockhaften Manier des Rheinenser Künstlers gearbeitet, der bei Josef Thorak in München und Karl Albiker in Dresden studierte. Besonders sein Frühwerk war beeinflusst durch die Arbeiten von Käthe Kollwitz und Ernst Barlach H. 22 x B. 12,5 x T. 1 cm. KRAUTWALD, JOSEPH (Borkenstadt / Upper Silesia 1914-2003 Rheine), Relief: "In the beginning was the Word", high relief after the Prologue of St. John (John 1.1-18). High relief, bronze, light brown patina and worked in the characteristic, expressive, block-like manner of the artist from Rheine, who studied under Josef Thorak in Munich and Karl Albiker in Dresden. His early work was particularly influenced by the works of Käthe Kollwitz and Ernst Barlach H. 22 x W. 12.5 x D. 1 cm.
