Letterpress title, 45pp. of engraved music printed with letterpress text, MANUSCRIPT DEDICATION LEAF TO MARIE ANTOINETTE, lettered in gold and black ink within red frame. Contemporary patterned calf, gilt-tooled border of foliate and thistle tools, large red leather title-label on front cover tooled in gilt, gilt spine (rebacked preserving original backstrip, restored at extremities). DEDICATION COPY TO MARIE ANTOINETTE, with inserted calligraphic leaf to 'Maria Antonia, Knigin von Frankreich'. In his search for patronage, Krause dedicated at least 3 copies of his work to different illustrious people. Four pieces in this collection are from an unpublished operetta. RISM K1932.
